DESCRIPTION

An introduction to astrology for the novice – no previous knowledge of astrology is required to enroll in this class. Students will be provided with detailed instructions on how to order their own free computer cast horoscope. They will be taught how to order and pay online for ten years of progressions and twelve months of daily transits for their own horoscopes. The emphasis is placed upon reading one’s own horoscope. The practical uses of the horoscope in understanding life’s cycles and crises through planetary transits and one’s relationships with others through compatibility analysis are the purposes of this course.

GOALS

To demystify astrology and orient the student to practical applications of astrological concepts.
To acquaint the student with terms, symbols and the lexicon of astrology.
To demonstrate astrology's utility in analyzing personal relationships and life cycle experiences.

OBJECTIVES

To teach the reading of any horoscope by learning to read one’s own.
To teach the meanings of astrological symbols, signs, planets and houses.
To teach the meaning of planetary placements and aspects and of the of planetary transits and progressions.
To teach the analysis of relationships by horoscope comparison, using the Relationship Matrix© Ken Austin, 1975.

This is a six week course, meeting weekly on WEDNESDAY for four hours.
